  • Anyone can get a photo completely for Free. Stop by our studio, we’ll take an amazing photo of you, retouch it to make it even more amazing, and you don’t have to pay us a cent. No catch.

We’re in this business to remove barriers between awesome people and their goals. We offer a free photo to anyone who wants one, because we want everyone to be able to benefit from professional media.

If you decide you want more photos, or you already know you’ll want multiple photos coming in, you can add extra photos à la carte ($45/ea) or go with one of our photography packages. Our packages already factor in the first photo free, so you’re still getting the deal.

  • Just click the “BOOK” button, and reserve your date!

Let us know your vision, date, and venue (if not in our studio).

We’ll find the perfect package for your needs, and if you’d like to chat, ask any questions, or go over anything beforehand, we can hop right on a call.

If we feel like a good fit to you, we’ll send over our basic agreement, and as soon as we get the retainer to hold the date, we’re booked!

  • Absolutely, we encourage it!

Both are excellent methods for storytelling, in very distinct ways. Therefore, each typically requires its own professional. We specialize in both, so we know that it’s very hard to do either justice if one professional is trying to two jobs at the same time.

Your Uber driver might also be a phenomenal barber, but you wouldn’t want them doing both at the same time. At least, we wouldn’t.

  • We shoot projects and events all over the world, and frequently host travel shoots. See our booking page for locations and availability.

We have particular experience shooting in Mexico (Los Cabos, Mexico City, Riviera Maya), Europe (Provence, Portugal, Germany, Italy…) to name a few. Not to mention all over the US!

We also speak fluent (English,) Spanish, German, Portuguese, and pretty good French, Italian, Mandarin, and Dutch too.

Wherever you’re going, we’re excited to join, and help make your experience that much more memorable.

Let us know if your event is somewhere outside the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and we’ll figure out with you the best way for us to be there with you.

  • Short Answer: You won’t even know we’re there.

Long Answer: For those moments when we can’t be completely invisible, we’re experts at making sure you’re having fun. And that’s because we’re having fun! And having fun does wonders on camera.

You already look amazing. Our job is just to capture that, then dial your 10 up to an 11. People look their best when they aren’t trying to look their best. And we’re invisible, so all you have to do is enjoy your moment. We’ll remind you later how much fun you had, with photos you’ll treasure forever.

Plus, we take many hundreds, if not thousands of photos. We only send the best of the best. Unless you want the bloopers.

  • For Headshot and Portrait sessions, we spend about an hour per Look. So if you’re booking 3 Looks, you get 3x as much time with us! Don’t worry, we’ve got water. And snacks.

  • Absolutely! Our beautiful studio is available for all our shoots, but we love shooting in new (and old) locations too. This requires some extra planning (especially for outdoor locations), so contact us with what you’ve got in mind, and we’ll make it happen. If you have an idea of what you want, but not exactly where yet, we can suggest some amazing locations as well.

See out-of-studio extra above. (Already included for Event packages).

  • An Engagement Session isn’t just a Beautiful Memory (though it is that) — It’s also a great way to get to know us, and practice being on camera! By the time the big day rolls around, you’ll already know us, and be super comfortable with having a camera around. Think of it like a test shoot — that you’ll get some of your life’s happiest memories out of.

We definitely recommend an engagement session. And if you’re really good at planning ahead, we can even be there to capture your proposal. This takes a little more planning, so if you’re really ambitious and want to remember that incredible moment forever, we’ll make it happen. Like we said — we know how to be invisible.

  • If you have some favorite outfits, bring them! You know best what you feel comfortable and good in, and we’ll help you choose what will look best on camera. We recommend bringing options.

We also can bring a professional stylist into the mix! We highly recommend this option. Let us know in advance so that we can set this up.

  • We also partner with exceptionally talented professional Hair and Makeup Artists. To get the most out of your session, we highly recommend taking advantage of the service they offer, at what are just about the best rates in the business (ask for pricing).

Everyone thinks they know how to do their own makeup for the camera, or thinks they don’t need makeup. Again, we promise fantastic results no matter what, but these services are standard practice in the industry for a reason — and we highly recommend taking advantage of them. All proceeds go to our partner artists — we don’t take any cut, we’re just happy to keep our industry partners happy.

  • If an Italian shot is Espresso, then an American shot is Whiskey. …

Across Mexico and Europe, the ‘American’ Shot refers to a medium-wide shot, showing the subject(s) whole body, from about the knees up. It gets its name from its frequent use in westerns, as it instills a sense of heroism about a character — hence also being called the cowboy shot. It’s a good middle-ground for showing someone’s full body without having to show their feet, which can either feel like an awkward angle, too far away, or just be impractical.

You’ve definitely seen this used frequently in portraits and film, even if you’ve never heard its name.

(There is actually an ‘Italian’ shot — an extreme close-up on a subject’s eyes. Which is typically not great for portrait photography. A ‘Mexican’ shot, we’re assuming, would be mezcal.)
